In Thailand, Yamaha has unveiled the XSR155, a retro-styled motorcycle based on the MT-15. The bike is planned to be released in India in 2020, according to the company. The XSR155 is based on Yamaha's 'Sport Heritage' design, which is also seen on the XSR 700 and XSR 900 models sold in international markets. It has a tear-drop shaped tank, a spherical full-LED headlamp, and a full-LED tail lights, as well as a single-piece seat for added vintage appeal. The XSR155 also features reworked headlamp brackets, a redesigned sump guard, and a modified exhaust plate with a pore-like pattern inspired by vintage motorcycles. The bike is built around the same Deltabox frame and 155cc engine as the R15-V3 and MT-15.
