Follow us onI need to increase my 2022 Toyota Glanza’s ground clearance. Can I fit Rogerab coil springs or upsize the rim to 17 inches (current size: 195/55-R16)? Which one is best for my vehicle? Will these affect the fuel efficiency, braking, stability, warranty and performance? Please suggest.

Autocar India says: Coil spring assisters, such as Rogerab, will limit compression of your vehicle's springs, and as a result, the suspension won't bottom out on tall speed breakers even when the car is loaded. It will also add a few extra millimeters of ground clearance. As a trade off, ride quality will feel a bit firmer, and you can expect some sharper body movements at low speeds, which you may not feel in the stock set-up. These are relatively easier to install and more cost effective than upsizing your tyres and rims. So you may consider this option.
