The car industry is turning electric, and Harley-Davidson is following suit. The Livewire is their first electric device. Because it's meant to be a muscular bike, it looks like a V-Rod or a Diavel. It has an electric motor located low in the chassis, as well as all of the necessary cycle elements. The motor is a permanent magnet motor with a high torque rating. Aluminium is used for the chassis. Showa offers upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock with full adjustment. Brembo has provided monoblock callipers to grip the front twin brake discs.
