The Grand i10 Nios is a handsome looking hatchback, and up front, gets some interesting elements like the tri-arrow DRLs and a large grille with a honeycomb pattern. At the rear, it gets sharply styled tail-lights which are connected by a band, similar to the Venue compact SUV. However, the band is not a light but merely a reflector.

A relatively high seating position, easy-to-reach touchscreen and ample storage makes it a car that instantly makes you comfortable. Higher-spec variants are well equipped with features such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charger and rear AC vents.

The Grand i10 Nios gets a sole 1.2-litre petrol engine and is paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. There's a CNG version too and the engine can also run on E20. The 1.2-litre motor gets the job done though it lacks the pep of Maruti’s K12 engine. It works best in city, and with a light-steering and good ride, the Grand i10 is a friendly city car. The previously available 1.0 turbo petrol and 1.2 diesel engines are no longer on sale.
